Raween holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce (Business Law and Human Resources) from the University of Wollongong. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2021 and joined VRT Lawyers in 2023.
Whilst working as a paralegal prior to her admission, Raween gained experience in Family Law, Criminal Law, Commercial Leasing, Wills, Estates and Probate. Since her admission, Raween now practices predominantly in the area of family law and will and estates.
Raween has acquired the experience, skills and knowledge in property and parenting disputes, specifically areas such as divorce, child custody, child support, Binding Financial Agreements, Consent Orders. While doing this, Raween also developed a deep understanding of family dynamics, sensitivity to the emotional complexities of family law cases. She also has the ability to navigate complex legal processes as well as substantially assist in complicated and lengthy litigation matters in both property and parenting matters.
Raween has a strong passion in Family and Estate Law which provides her with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. Raween is cognisant of the fact that Family law and Estate law cases involve emotionally charged situations that can have a profound impact on the well-being of families and children. Raween feels a sense of fulfilment in helping clients navigate difficult situations such as divorce, child custodial battles, domestic violence, and property disputes. Raween's high level of empathy and ability to work collaboratively with clients to find solutions that work for their unique circumstances. She values helping people, and values making a positive difference in their lives, which is very rewarding and fulfilling to Raween.
Raween has speaking proficiency in the Arabic language and basic understanding of written Arabic. Outside of the law, Raween has a strong love for dancing as she has had this passion since the age of 4. Raween is also a keen baker! She is very active and loves to go to the gym as well as relaxing by the beach and many coastal walks. Raween enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
