Genesis Burbano

Genesis has a Bachelor of Arts/Laws and Diploma of Legal Practice. Admitted in 2024 to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia, Genesis joined VRT Lawyers with a passion for family and estate law.

Genesis is a strong advocate for her clients, litigating matters in both the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales.  She brings both compassion and objectivity to all matters. This allows clients to feel both understood and supported while also having accurate expectations of litigated outcomes and allowing them to make informed decisions during a stressful period in their lives.

In addition to her passion for the law, Genesis is well travelled and continues to explore more countries when work commitments allow. This is assisted by Genesis being fluent in both Spanish and English. In the Family Law jurisdiction where matters are becoming increasingly global, Genesis’ fluency of Spanish is invaluable if there are assets in Spain or Central and South America.
